Employment Eligibility Verification
All new employees should receive an email to complete a criminal background check and then the Form I-9 for employment eligibility verification. Both the I-9 and criminal background check must be successfully completed before a new hire can begin employment at Billings Clinic.
Employee Health Requirements
Your recruiter will instruct you on any necessary screenings with Employee Health upon acceptance of an offer.
Drug Screening
All Billings Clinic new hires will be subject to a urine drug screening prior to the start of their employment.
Immunizations
Tuberculosis screening is required by one of the following methods:
a) IGRA Blood Test (Either QuantiFeron or TSpot) within 30 days prior to date of hire, OR
b) 2-Step TST (tuberculin skin test) (one test within 1 year prior to date of hire and one test within 30 days prior to hire) OR
c) Chest X-ray (CXR) (within 12 months prior to date of hire) for employees with prior positive TB tests or Latent TBI to rule out active disease.
The following vaccines are also required for employment at Billings Clinic:
a) (2) Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccinations or quantitative titers showing immunity
b) (2) Varicella vaccinations or a quantitative titer showing immunity
***NOTE: If you decline the required MMR and/or Varicella vaccines, you will not meet that condition for employment unless you qualify for and receive a medical exemption through Billings Clinic’s formal
accommodation process before starting work.
The following vaccines are strongly recommended for employment at Billings Clinic
a) Annual Influenza vaccine, or proof of current year vaccine.
b) Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccine
b) Hepatitis B vaccine series
c) T dap (Tetanus)
**NOTE: If a vaccination is declined, a reasonable accommodation will be addressed that may include requirement of wearing an N95 mask during scheduled hours for all clinical and non-clinical employees.
What to Bring on Your First Day
You will report to New Employee Orientation in the lower level of the Clinic Commons building on your start date.
Things
to remember:
Acceptable forms of ID for Employment Verification (please refer to Form I9 Acceptable Documents):
- Must
include one document from List A; or
- One
document from List B and one document from List C .
Failure to provide forms of acceptable
identification and employment authorization at orientation may prevent you
from beginning employment until said document(s) is provided.
What to Wear
On Day One, please dress in business casual attire. Guidelines on our dress code will be provided prior to start. Please note, jeans are only acceptable for "Jeans Friday" and should not be worn during orientation.
- Facial
piercings larger than 2mm (12 gauge) are not allowed; please limit facial
piercings to two piercings.
- Ear
piercings larger than 1cm (00 Gauge) are not allowed.
- Clinical
staff - nails longer than ¼" past the tip of your finger or
artificial nails of any kind are not allowed
- Tattoos
that can be considered inappropriate or offensive must be covered
